Take Out Menu Organizer!

I bought this menu organizer last year to hold all of those take out menus that we order off of. This is such a clever idea that I had to share it with you all. I didn't want to praise something that I didn't think worthy. This is worthy, it has a pouch with your very own "What Do You Want" tickets so you can write down everyone's orders. It has black and red pens and it has the greatest instructions for using this organizer.

There is also a place to store your most frequently called numbers. There are sections with plastic sleeves for you to put your menus. The best part are the "Takeout Service Record" slips so you can record an employee name, if your delivery was early or late, how you rate the delivery person, and the condition of your food. I stick these to the outside of the sleeve for the restaurant that I order from, so I can try track how their service is. Is that cool or what?

An Original Idea!

I have to say that I am astounded by those that think they have an original idea or that someone may have come up with something before them and now they are "offended". From my perspective and it is just that, I don't feel like anyone really has an original idea unless they can honestly prove that they came up with the idea.
As for those of us who design and create jewelry, it seems to be a sticky subject. Well, I ran into this today and I have to say I was taken aback that someone thought I copied them, when I have being making my bracelets for some time now.

So, if you read my blog and are offended, I'm sorry, if you are not offended, think about what you say before you say it! I just had to get that off my chest.

Moving on to the next thing on today's list. BTW, I downloaded this picture from Microsoft's clipart.

I'm on Cuteable! Check it out...

I was so excited to receive an e-mail from Lindsey at Cuteable to announce that she had chosen one of my pieces of jewelry to be in a Cuteable article. My butterfly bracelet is one of my favorite bracelets that I made, so this is very exciting. If you haven't heard of Cuteable, you should definitely check it out.

Scrapbooking - Considering It Again!

I get the daily e-mail from "Better Homes & Garden" and today's e-mail was all about crafts. So, I clicked on the link and found a very interesting page on scrapbooking. Off to the side they had a link to "Free Page Sketches". When the page opened, I was amazed at the various layouts they had and decided I needed to share this information.

If you scrapbook you should check it out, even if you are considering it. I used to scrapbook big time. Then I went to school and I haven't done anything in 3 years. Now, I really am thinking about it because of the new cool Cricket machine my husband bought me. When I saw the layout for an Easter page, I thought, "I really need to get busy before the kids grow up and are out of the house!"

I hope you find the page useful and that you are enjoying scrapbooking as much as I know I will be when I start doing it again. I have 6 books that desperately need some attention.

Daily Tarot - The Queen of Swords

Today I have a 2nd job interview with a company that I interviewed on the phone with. I find my daily tarot card e-mail to be of interest, as it fits in line with what I am up against today. Wish me good luck.

"The Queen of Swords card suggests that my power today lies in advocation. I have been there, done that and can be trusted to judge, perceive or tell it like it is. I own my authority and honor my authentic nature and wisdom but use my sharp wit responsibly and accept that not everyone will "warm up to me." I have a sleek, keen but detached sense for quality, classic style and truth and my reputation for communicating or protecting justice, the greater good or serving as a pioneer is well-deserved. I am empowered to endure by obligation to my code and my virtue is order."
